Jian’Ou was once a prosperous world just within the imperial borders. It was governed by the house of Mei and many of it’s exports made their way to the marble streets of Alpha Verde I. The 1st cycle of the rein of Claudius Aelius saw the collapse of the house of Mei and with it the decline of Jian’Ou. The world now sits in a political no-mans land within the borders of an empire that no longer acknowledges it. Over the years Jian’Ou has turned into little more than a prison planet, a moldering shadow of what it once was. Nothing leaves the world and local space is heavily patrolled by the Empire. Though artifacts from the “lost world” of Jian’Ou are highly prized for their craftsmanship and rarity, a heavy stigma surrounds the planet.
